I am facing problem while installing ekushey fonts on my ubuntu 8.10.

Messages at the terminal are as following:

Resolving nchc.dl.sourceforge.net… 211.79.60.17

Connecting to nchc.dl.sourceforge.net|211.79.60.17|:80… failed: Connection timed out.

Giving up.

I will be very helpful for me if you kindly provide me with an early solution.

thanks bro its very useful tutorial for beginners. i download this package in .deb extension and right click on it. and install in GUI. and try your way also. i know its install but still i can't understand how i write bangla.
