My cousin Dan’s first child was born today, which means I became an uncle!

It’s a boy, and he was 4110 gram and 52 cm when born. Isn’t he adorable?

I knew Dan was a well known rock star, but what I didn’t knew is that he’s really really famous in Norway! His younger brother Kim is in the music industry too, and I hope he becomes famous too! I’m glad to have cousins like them!

Lima’s Wedding

I usually avoid family programs, but I didn’t want to miss Lima’s wedding since we two have some beautiful childhood memories.

It was also good to be able to meet almost all of my maternal relatives, whom I only get to see once in a blue moon. Nice Eid get together!

Hospital Days

After 6 days of viral fever along with serious respiratory tract infection together with aggravated peptic ulcer pain, my mother had to be hospitalised on Tuesday. RTI resulted in acute cough and asthma, and none of the usual medications were working. Due to the non-stop coughing, she couldn’t even sleep at night.

After an intensive pathological examination and X-ray, the problem was identified as inflammatory lung lesion. She was discharged today after staying in hospital for 3 nights. Her condition is a little better now, but the anti-biotic and asthma medications are to be continued.

Love Conquers All

Avishek is from Bangladesh, Gayatri is from India
Avishek is Buddhist, Gayatri is Hindu
Avishek was brought up in Dhaka, Gayatri was brought up in Bangkok

And yet, they fell in love, and got married. Isn’t that wonderful?

I wish all the best to this newly married couple, and hope they hold each other’s hand till the end of time.

One info that should insipire all the lovers around the world is that Gayatri was the first girl whom Avishek ever asked out, and he was rejected him at first. The rest, is history.

In case you are wondering, Avishek is my childhood friend — I know him since the third grade. He moved to New Zealand with his family after our O’ Levels, where he met Gayatri.
